A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Tyra Panion! Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago in the Roseland area, I have always been passionate about understanding human connections and fostering growth. I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and will complete my Master’s in Couples and Family Counseling by August 2025.
I live by Maya Angelou’s words: “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” This quote reflects my belief in the transformative power of healing, change, and self-discovery.
My Approach to Therapy
Empathy & Collaboration – I believe every individual has the capacity for healing and growth, no matter their past experiences or challenges. My role is to walk alongside you in your journey.
